Payroll Deductions
With Payroll Deduction, a portion of your pay is automatically deposited into your POCUMD savings account or used to make a payment to your POCUMD loan. This way you will never miss a loan payment - it's secure and it saves you time and money. No more sending a check and wondering if it arrived on time. The Post Office requires that you sign up for Direct Deposit through their payroll department.
Retirement plans? Just inform OPM or the company issuing your retirement benefits that you wish to set up an allotment to continue saving or paying off your loan at POCUMD. As soon as you've received your last pay check from the Post Office, you will need to provide OPM or the company issuing your retirement benefits with Post Office Credit Union of Maryland's routing number and your full account number.

GAP Services (Guaranteed Auto Protection)
Will your insurance pay off your loan if your car is totaled? ... Think again! Don't learn about GAP risk the hard way. If your vehicle is totaled or stolen, your primary insurance will usually pay only the current market value of your vehicle, less your deductible. This amount could be substantially lower than your loan balance and that's where GAP comes in. When you finance a vehicle through POCUMD, don't forget to ask for GAP coverage. It will cover the difference between your loan payoff and your primary insurance company settlement.

POCUMD also offers extended warranties through Auto Exam. When you finance your vehicle through POCUMD, for just pennies a day, your vehicle can be protected from the unexpected with an extended warranty plan from Auto Exam. Discount Tickets to The Maryland Zoo in Baltimore
POCUMD is pleased to offer our members discounted tickets to the wildest place in town - the Maryland Zoo in Baltimore!
Tickets are valid for any day that the Zoo is open, from 10am to 4pm daily, March 14th through mid-December. The Zoo is closed on Thanksgiving Day; however, tickets may be used for entry into the Zoo when other events are held, such as the Easter Egg Hunt and ZooBooo! Rates effective as of January 1, 2010

Quoted interests, annual percentage rates2 (APR) and annual percentage yields3 (APY) are subject to change daily at the discretion of the Board of Directors. Rates indicated are the lowest rates. APR may vary based on creditworthiness.
*Rates are based on a maximum Loan to Value (LTV) less than or equal to 85%. Loans with an LTV between 86% and 89% are also available with different conditions and rates. Adequate property insurance is required and if applicable, flood insurance will be required.
