Who Can Join

You can join if you are a family member of an existing member of the Post Office Credit Union of MD. Membership is open to all Maryland postal employees, their extended families and anyone who shares the same physical address.  

Once a Member Always a Member

Credit union membership can be for a lifetime. No matter if you move, change jobs, or retire, you'll always be a member of POCUMD. Once a member, always a member!

Cost to Join

Open an account with only $10.25 and maintain as little as $10.00 in a Share Savings Account to be eligible for the many benefits of credit union membership for life.

Additional accounts are:

  • Share Draft/Checking ($50.00)

  • Vacation Club ($10.00)

  • Christmas Club ($10.00)

  • Money Market ($2,000.00)

  • Certificate of Deposit ($500.00)

Mailed in applications require check or money order only. Counter/Office Drop in applications can be accepted with the above and cash.
